House fire closes part of S. Perry in Spokane Wednesday morning

SPOKANE, Wash. --- A home caught fire on S. Perry Street on Wednesday morning.

Crews responded after about 5 a.m. to the scene. They initially told media they were unsure if anyone was inside at the time, but later reported no one was inside or hurt.

At about 5:45 a.m. fire crews appeared to be on the roof.

 

 

South Perry Street near 1st Avenue was closed as of 5:40 p.m. as crews tried to put out the blaze.
