ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A 31-year-old Roseburg man is dead after he crashed into a semitrailer early Sunday morning south of Roseburg.

Investigators said 31-year-old Anthony Webber was driving a 2004 Ford Explorer south on Interstate 5 at about 4:15 a.m. Sunday morning when he turned onto the off-ramp at Exit 119. As Webber tried to navigate the corner, he lost control and the Ford rolled off the ramp and into both lanes of Highway 42, where it crashed into a 2010 Peterbilt while airborne.

Webber was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semitrailer, 33-year-old Richard E. Arceo, of Pasco, Washington, was taken to Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg with minor injuries.
