Pullman Police investigate sexual assault case at WSU fraternity

A Washington State University fraternity is under investigation after a pair of serious allegations.

PULLMAN, Wash. --- Pullman police officials said they are investigating a situation after a Washington State University student reported she was provided alcohol at a fraternity and was sexually assaulted.

Officials said Pullman police officers were contacted by the Washington State University student who said she was sexually assaulted at the Delta Upsilon fraternity.

Officials said police officers were called to contact an 18-year-old female student on Friday, who said she was given alcohol and sexually assaulted at the fraternity.

On Saturday morning, officials said they were called to Pullman Regional Hospital where officers contacted a 17-year-old female student who reported she was provided alcohol at the fraternity and later became ill.

Officials said investigators served a search warrant at Delta Upsilon on Saturday afternoon and collected evidence.

Officials said a possible suspect in the sexual assault investigation was also contacted and interviewed at the fraternity.

According to officials, the suspect was not arrested pending an additional investigation.\

Officials said the Office of Student Conduct at Washington State University was notified of the investigations.
