Police: No children injured in school bus crash near Filer

FILER - Authorities say no one was injured Monday morning when a school bus collided with a vehicle near Filer.

Idaho State Police said they investigated a two-vehicle, non-injury crash at around 8:03 a.m. at 2300 N and U.S. 30.

Police said Raechel Ruhther-Dalos, 34, of Filer, was stopped at the stop sign at the intersection in a 2014 Chevy Cruz.

Clyde Johnson,62, of Filer, was stopped behind Ruhther-Dalos' vehicle in a school bus that had 35 children on board.

Police said Johnson - believing that Ruhther-Dalos had proceeded through the sign - moved forward and hit the car.

As a precaution, Ruhther-Dalos was taken by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Magic Valley.

Police said one of the children on the bus may have been transported by a personal vehicle.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

The crash is still being investigated.
