What happened to West Seattle's two white geese?

The City of Seattle is investigating how two white geese from Lincoln Park ended up on a farm on Vashon Island.

SEATTLE -- For years, two white geese have hissed and honked all over the beach and path on Lincoln Park in West Seattle.

They had a reputation for attracting the curiosity of kids and dogs.

People have been posting photos of the white duo for years on social media sites and photography blogs like Flickr.

Earlier this month, the West Seattle Blog reported how they'd gone missing. The blog discovered they were now living at an animal rescue sanctuary called BaaHaus on Vashon Island.

We called BaaHaus several months but our messages were not returned.

According to the city of Seattle, it's illegal to take animals from city parks. A spokesperson for the city says the Seattle Animal Shelter is investigating but cannot comment on the situation during the investigation.
