Netflix's 'Amanda Knox' documentary releases trailers: 'Believe Her' and 'Suspect Her'

Netflix has released two new trailers for its new documentary "Amanda Knox," which centers around the now 29-year-old Seattleite once accused of murdering her roommate in Italy. And they're asking you to pick a side.

The 2007 case, which made international headlines, divided the world into two camps: those who thought Knox was innocent and those who thought she was guilty.

The filmmakers take both points of view. One trailer is titled "Believe Her," the other "Suspect Her." Both feature Knox addressing the camera directly.

"Suddenly, I found myself tossed into this dark place...I was so scared. Before Italy, I had a happy life."

"Either I'm a psychopath in sheep's clothing, or I am you."

The documentary dives into the saga, which started in 2007, when Knox, a college student from Seattle, was studying abroad in Perugia, Italy. Knox's British roommate, Meredith Kercher, 21, was found dead in the flat they shared, setting off an eight-year chain of events.

Knox was arrested and convicted on murder charges by an Italian court. Knox was sentenced to 26 years, while her ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito was sentenced to 25 yeras. Knox spent nearly four years in an Italy prison before she and Sollecito were aquitted on appeal and released on October 4, 2011.

"Amanda Knox" arrives on Netflix September 30.
