Meridian man injured in crash at Blacks Creek exit

A Meridian man is in the hospital after a rollover crash on Interstate 84 southeast of Boise.

It happened shortly after 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Blacks Creek exit.

Idaho State Police say Brandon Norton, 42, was heading west on I-84, driving a 2008 Ford F-350 with a boat in tow when he failed to negotiate a curve on the off-ramp and rolled the truck.

Norton was flown to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

Police say he was wearing his seat belt.

The westbound off-ramp was blocked for about two hours.

This is the second serious rollover crash on that off-ramp in less than two weeks.
