Man charged after turning himself in after Oregon anti-Trump protest

PORTLAND, Ore. -- A 21-year-old man who was caught on video kicking an occupied car during a protest against President-elect Donald Trump earlier this month has turned himself in to Portland police.

Miguel Rebollo was charged Tuesday with one count each of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $6,500.

Police say Rebollo kicked a car during the demonstration that was occupied by a young woman and two small children.

Numerous people called in tips to police after seeing Rebollo's picture posted on a website being used by authorities to identify those who committed crimes during the protests.

Hundreds of people took to the streets for days in Portland to protest Trump's election.

Many protests were peaceful but some grew violent and involved clashes with police.
