KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho – KREM 2 News was the first to learn Friday that the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office said they arrested two people in connection to the murder of a Post Falls man.

Detectives said they have one man in custody that will be charged with homicide and another man in custody on related charges.

They did not release the identity of the suspects at this time.

Authorities have been working to find the person(s) responsible for killing William "Bo" Kirk. Kirk was found Tuesday near the Hayden Creek area of the Coeur d'Alene National Forest after being reported missing by his wife earlier in the weekend when he did not return home from work.

KCSO did not specify if the men seen in the surveillance video are the ones in custody. Authorities had asked the public for help in identifying the two, though it is unclear at this time if a public tip led to these arrests.

Both KCSO and the Post Falls Police Department have been working on this case. Officials said members of the North Idaho Violent Tasks Force team helped make the arrests.
