Boise business owner wins $200K on lottery scratch game

BOISE – A Boise business owner is the Idaho Lottery’s latest big winner.

Nathan Nuno stopped at the Jacksons Food Store located at Cole and Amity roads after work Tuesday and bought a High Stakes Casino scratch ticket.

“I scratched it at the store and didn’t believe it. I had the store check it and it won big,” said Nuno.  “I didn’t really celebrate until I got home.”

Nuno claimed his $200,000 prize at Idaho Lottery headquarters on Wednesday morning.  Nuno says he plans to buy a new truck and a few other vehicles to support his business.

Lottery officials say this was the first top prize claimed on the High Stakes Casino scratch game. Another top prize of $200,000 remains unclaimed.
