Man pulled from Oregon City fire

Clackamas Firefighters Pull Man to Safety

OREGON City, Ore. -- A man was pulled from a second-story apartment bedroom early Tuesday morning after flames were knocked down by firefighters.

Rescue crews provided CPR on the scene before the man was taken by ambulance to the hospital. His condition was not available.

The alarm came in about 4:30 a.m. to the Clipper Ridge Apartment at 595 May St., according to Clackamas Fire PIO Steve Hofferditz.

A tenant said she smelled smoke and when crews arrived flames were coming from a second-story unit.

The injured man was the sole occupant of the fire-damaged unit. No other units were damaged by fire.
