A popular Boise event all about art returns to Julia Davis Park today.
The 62nd annual Art in the Park features more than 250 artists that specialize in all sorts of different types of artwork -- including glass, metalwork, pottery, jewelry and toys.
Eighty of the artists taking part are from Idaho.
A portion of sales throughout the weekend will go the Boise Art Museum.
"This fundraiser supports about 20-25 percent of our operational costs,” said Boise Art Museum executive director Melanie Fales. “And it supports the exhibitions and our education programs at the Boise Art Museum, so it really, really does keep us in operation throughout the rest of the year."
If you can't make it out today, Art in the Park will continue Saturday and Sunday.
