Driver runs stop light in downtown Boise, injures woman in crash

BOISE -- Police cited a man after a crash in downtown Boise that sent one person to the hospital on Christmas Day. It happened at the intersection of 15th and Idaho streets around 2:30 p.m.

Police say the driver of a Chevy Tahoe was driving on Idaho Street when he ran a red light.The SUV then got sideswiped by a car driving north on 15th.

A woman in the car was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.The SUV driver was cited for failure to yield.
