COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho -- Coeur d’Alene Police are asking for help tracking down a suspect wanted for enticing a child Tuesday.

Authorities said two men drove a van alongside a 10-year-old boy around 5 p.m. on the 2700 block of Fruitland Lane. The boy was walking home from a friend’s house. The two suspects, possibly Hispanic, slid open the door and asking the young boy if he wanted candy and motioned for him to get in the van. The boy ran away from the van, according to police.

The van was last seen travelling north on Fruitland Lane. Police searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

The full size, whit van was described as having dark tinted windows, two thin black lines just below the windows, a sliding door, and had squeaky shocks as the van drove away.

The driver of the van possibly had green eyes and the passengers probably had brown eyes, according to police. Their age and clothing were unknown but they both had mustaches.

If you have any information about the suspects or vehicle please contact The Coeur d' Alene Police Department.
