TWIN FALLS -- A 14-year-old boy has apparently drowned in Dierkes Lake in Twin Falls.
Police received the 911 call at about 11:55 a.m. Wednesday, but the boy was last seen in the shallow water at 11:30 a.m., or possibly earlier.
The Twin Falls sheriff's spokeswoman Lori Stewart says divers recovered the boy's body at 1:55 p.m. in about 14 feet of water.
Stewart said the boy's name is Muan "Jeremy" Sing. He was at the lake with a group from the CSI Refugee Center. The center helps people who have fled their country due to persecution to settle in the Twin Falls area.
It was the second drowning at Dierkes Lake in less than a month. A 42-year-old man, Chen Peir-Horng, drowned on July 21.
