BOISE -- Police say a 13-year-old boy reported missing early Thursday morning was found safe and sound near his home Thursday morning
Authorities asked for the public's help in locating the boy shortly after 6 a.m.
They say the boy, named Thomas, was believed to have left his home shortly after 2 a.m. They say he has medical issues that caused his family to be very concerned.
Police searched the area near W. Ustick Rd & N. Duane Way, just east of Eagle Rd. throughout the morning.
They located the boy around 7:30 a.m. not far from his home.
