BOISE -- Police arrested a 33-year-old Boise man Wednesday, alleging he used an Idaho Quest card to obtain welfare benefits and food stamps illegally.

David L. Stoker is charged with felony unauthorized use of federal food stamps/obtaining welfare by fraud. He's also charged with felony parole violation.

Officers reportedly found the Quest card during a probation and parole search of Stoker's home at 6:30 a.m. on January 30th.

Police say they determined Stoker had received the benefits card from someone who had left the community and was no longer using the card. They say Stoker had been making purchases with the card on more than one occasion.
