BOISE -- Here is one of those stories when you say "only in Idaho."
Over the weekend, ski patrol at Tamarack Resort rescued a trapped sheep just outside the ski area's boundaries.
Backcountry skiers reported the lone sheep on Sunday.
There is no way to tell exactly how long the sheep had been trapped but it appeared to have been several days or longer.
Crews transported the sheep by sled, and it was later taken to a local ranch, where KTVB is told that the sheep is recovering.
KTVB's Kim Fields will have much more on this story Wednesday, when she travels to Tamarack to talk the people who helped bring the sheep to safety.
