Twin Falls County, Idaho -- The wildfire that broke out Wednesday night near the Magic Mountain Ski Resort in Twin Falls County is still actively burning.

Bureau of Land Management officials say the Thompson Creek Fire burned through the night Wednesday and had charred about 650 acres by Thursday morning.

Rogerson Road was still shut down Thursday morning because of it. That's between Rock Creek Road and Deadline Ridge in the Thompson Creek Drainage area.

BLM officials say hundreds of fire personnel will be out on the fire lines all day Thursday fighting the flames from the air and the ground.

No buildings have been burned so far. Containment is expected Friday night at around 6 p.m.
