KUNA, Idaho – Two different fires hit east of Kuna Sunday Morning.
The first fire was called in around 9 a.m. at Cloverdale and Kings Road. Kuna Firefighters said a farmer was gathering bails of hay onto a stacker when the stacker caught fire.
The second fire occurred around 9:30 a.m. near Locust Grove and Kings Road. Firefighters said people were trying to burn a protective fire barrier around their property when the fire got out of control.
Two houses and a shed were threatened but there was no damage to any structures. About four acres were burned and a couple of fences were damaged during the fire.
Kuna Fire responded to both fires and put them out. No one was harmed in either fire.
