WEISER, Idaho -- Washington County Sheriff's deputies say there were no injuries after a train hit a small truck Tuesday night after it became high-centered on the tracks between Payette and Weiser.
The accident happened around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies say the truck was crossing the tracks at a private crossing along Highway 95 near mile post 75 when it somehow got stuck on the tracks.
Deputies aren’t sure how the truck became stuck on the tracks, but we’re told there was work being done on the track earlier in the day.
The train was only traveling about 20 mph at the time of the accident.
