BOISE -- Boise Police have arrested the third man believed to be involved in the robbery of a man responding to a Craigslist ad earlier this month.
Friday, police arrested Michael Shawn Corbett, 21, of Meridian. He has been charged with two counts, one of felony robbery and one of felony conspiracy to commit robbery.
Corbett was arrested Friday evening in Meridian by Boise Police and faces the above charges in connection with the September 5 robbery, where a man responding to a listing for an iPad on Craigslist was instead beaten and robbed by three men.
The other two men police believe were involved in the robbery, Dominic Hinton, 20, of Boise and Roman Nazarko, 19, of Caldwell were arrested Thursday after they targeted Ada County Sheriff Gary Raney with the same scheme.
Boise Police suggest citizens take steps to protect themselves when buying or selling items on Internet commerce sites.
