BOISE -- It's been close to three months since the Idaho missionaries were arrested in Haiti, accused of trying to take more than 30 orphans out of the country.  Since then, nine of those missionaries were released, but one still remains -- Laura Silsby.

On Saturday, a rally was held in her honor on the steps of the Boise Capitol. More than 100 people came out in support of Silsby, including friends, family, and some who've never even met her. They all gathered for what they said was a way to keep Silsby in the forefront of everyone’s minds.

For Charisa Coulter, who was detained with Silsby in Haiti, the day was a reminder of the one when she was released from the jail while Silsby was kept in Haiti.

“It was one of the hardest days of my entire life," Coulter said. "It was very hard. She's always on my mind. It's like a roller coaster, you have highs and you have lows."

Laura Silsby has been inside a Haiti prison for more than 80 days now, accused of taking orphans out of the country.

“It’s just a blessing to be here with god's people to remember her,” said Nicole Lankford of the rally. Lankford was one of the 10 missionaries detained with Silsby. “The church, not just here, but in America is standing up and doing what we're called to do in praying for her and remembering her.”

More than a hundred supporters gathered to remember and pray for the return of Silsby.  Among them were supporters like Joyce Graves, who's never even met Silsby.

"Just so people don't forget that she's still there and we need to bring her home," Graves said. "She's innocent and we're praying for her."

But until the day Silsby is released, friends, family and supporters said they'll wait for any news.

“Laura has a lot of support," Coulter said. "People love her and we're anxious for her to be home and we're patiently trusting God."

Coulter said they're able to get limited news about how Silsby is doing through e-mails from some residents of Haiti. There still is no word from Haitian officials about what is expected to happen next with Silsby's case.
