BOISE -- Idaho Lottery officials say a Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold in Bonneville County.
The winning ticket has matched all five “white” ball numbers, but not the Powerball.
The winning numbers for Saturday night's $144.6 million draw were 10, 29, 33, 41, 59 and the Powerball number was 15.
In addition to matching all five “white” ball numbers, the winning ticket has the PowerPlay option, turning the ticket into an automatic $1 million winner.
Idaho Lottery Director Jeff Anderson is encouraging Powerball players to check their tickets carefully.
“Too many times we’ve seen players look at their ticket and believe they were not a winner because they did not match the Powerball number. In this case, the winning ticket matched all five numbers, but not the Powerball. And with the PowerPlay option, that makes it a $1 million winner.”
There were over 9,200 individual winners on Powerball in Idaho Saturday, including the $1 million winning ticket.
No one won the Powerball jackpot meaning the next jackpot for Wednesday night is an estimated $170 million.
