STATELINE, ID. -- Four people are under arrest after a police chase that began in North Idaho on Interstate 90 Friday evening.

Around 4:36 p.m., the chase began on Highway 95 when a 1990's Lincoln failed to pull over for Idaho State Police. Troopers chased the vehicle going over 100 MPH on side streets into Washington, and say at times the driver was going the wrong way.

Troopers say near Appleway in Liberty Lake, the driver took the vehicle onto I-90 and drove back into Idaho, eventually hitting a spike strip laid down by police. The vehicle got two flat tires, side-swiped some cars and spun out on a side road.

Troopers say four people, 17-year-old Timothy Allen, 18-year-old Louise Charley, 18-year-old Molly Matt, and 21-year-old Johnny Matt, got out and ran. Officers caught up with and arrested three of them. A Sheriff's Department K-9 was used in the search, and bit Charley. The 18-year-old was taken to Kootenai Medical Center.

Idaho State Police originally suspended the search for the fourth suspect, but now have that person in custody. We do not have details yet on how that suspect was caught.

According to law enforcement, the suspects are from Worley, Idaho. Beer cans were found in the vehicle.
