BOISE -- A Boise teenager is in trouble with the law after police responded to a loud party Thursday night.
Officers received a citizen complaint about the noise at a home on the 200 block of East Gettysburg around 11:30 p.m.
As officers approached the residence, they found the front door wide open and observed what appeared to be a bowl of marijuana in plain sight.
A search of the room turned up 5.5 ounces of pot in several plastic baggies, the bowl and a backpack. Digital scales, additional packaging materials and prescription narcotic drugs were also found in the home.
Nineteen-year-old Sean P. Griffard was arrested and charged with possession/manufacture of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance. Both charges are felonies. Griffard was booked into the Ada County Jail.
Two others at the home were cited for minor consumption of alcohol and released.
