MOSCOW -- A former physical education teacher in northern Idaho is suing the Potlatch School District, alleging he was unfairly placed on leave after a dispute with another employee.
An attorney for Jim Wacker filed the lawsuit in Latah County earlier this month.
The Moscow-Pullman Daily News reports Wacker was disciplined after a school aide said he had confronted her in a threatening manner, in front of students.
Court records show Wacker was placed on administrative leave with pay April 20.
Wacker says the district did not have adequate grounds to punish him and his due process rights were violated because he didn't get a hearing to clear his name.
The district has since let Wacker go as a result of restructuring.
