CALDWELL, Idaho -- Arandu Chavez Maceda, 21, a Caldwell gang member, was sentenced by Judge Juneal Kerrick to 15 years in prison today.
Maceda was also sentenced to 10 years in prision for two charges of Voluntary Manslaughter. He will not be eligible for parole until after serving at least 13 years.
In 2004, Maceda, who was 16 at the time, was in a car with other Eastside gang members when they did a drive-by a on a home on Canyon Hill in Caldwell. Carlos Chavez was shot during the drive-by. He died at St. Al's two weeks later.
Maceda also fired at two other people.
