BOISE -- A Boise couple that regularly plays the Powerball and Mega Millions, is the winner of a $1 million Powerball prize.

Audrey and David Eckert picked their winnings at Idaho Lottery headquarters in Boise Friday.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Maverik store at the corner of Franklin and Maple Grove roads in Boise.

The couple plans to use their winnings to help ease a transition into retirement.  David works for Darigold and has been thinking about retiring.

"We don't have to worry about that anymore. Or worry about insurance once we retire either," said Audrey.

For selling the winning ticket, Maverick will receive a $20,000 bonus from the Idaho lottery.
