BOISE -- The littlest patients at St. Luke's Children's Hospital got a new friend.
Bears by the waggonload were being wheeled down the hallways to children's rooms Tuesday morning.
Miracle Bears are custom dressed stuffed bears that were purchased at St. Luke's annual fundraising event, Kid for a Night, earlier this year.
Volunteers say delivering the bears puts as much of a smile on their faces as the kids.
"The kids are our future and for me, these kids are going through a really tough time, and it's a way to give a bright spot, a bit of hope for them," said Nolan Hoffer with the Kid for a Night committee
The fundraiser raised more than $450,000 for St. Luke's Children's Hospital.
