BURLEY -- A vice principal at Burley High School wanted for having sexual contact with minors has been arrested near St. George, Utah.
Tara Bagley was taken into custody by Hurricane City Police without incident Friday morning. She is currently being held Washington County Jail. Her bond is set at $250,000.
Lt. Chris Jensen with the Cassia County Sheriff's Office says a warrant for Bagley's arrest was issued this week after detectives began investigating reports of inappropriate conduct with a teenage girl.
Prosecuting Attorney Al Barrus says the warrant is for seven counts of sexual battery of a minor under 16 or 17 years of age. He confirmed there were two victims, but declined to provide further details due to the ongoing investigation.
Investigators say the encounters did not happen on school property. They began in summer 2011 and continued until this December.
Bagley will be extradited to Idaho to face the seven felony charges.
Authorities tell us she has been placed on administrative leave by the school district.
