BOISE -- Police are investigating a "credible security threat" at the Boise Airport first reported at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Patti Miller with the Boise Airport says TSA screening is currently closed, and aircraft are being held at the gate.
Miller would not specify the nature of the security threat, but did say the area of concern was just beyond TSA screening, and had been closed off by Boise police.
TSA Security Manager Jess Carson said a bomb threat had been called into the terminal.
Miller said aircraft are able to land if they need to, and expects regular operations to resume after police clear the threat.
No one is being evacuated from the terminal, but dozens of travelers are said to be waiting in lines.
Miller says several hundred passengers are experiencing a delay due to the threat.
