BOISE -- A Caldwell man currently serving a lengthy prison sentence for sexual abuse of a minor has been sentenced in federal court for failing to register as a sex offender.
U.S. Attorney Wendy J. Olson announced that 29-year-old Joshua Stueckle was sentenced Thursday to serve 46 months in prison, to be followed by five years of supervised release. He pleaded guilty to the charge on June 19, 2012. His federal sentence will run concurrent with the state sentence.
Stueckle was arrested just after midnight on Oct. 12, 2011, at the Haunted World, a haunted maze in Nampa. He was later convicted of having sexual relations with two underage Caldwell girls, one of whom he met at the maze.

Stueckle is required to register as a sex offender due to a prior sexual abuse conviction in central Oregon. He last registered on Jan. 12, 2011, in Bend, Oregon. Stueckle met a 16-year-old girl who lived in Caldwell while online. He moved to Idaho in July 2011, but failed to notify authorities of his new address and that he had left Oregon.
Stueckle is currently serving a 12- to 30-year fixed sentence at an Idaho Department of Correction facility for his conviction of sexual abuse of a minor earlier this year.
