Boise VA Medical Center provides free flu vaccines for veterans

The VA in Boise offers a drive-thru service.

The Boise VA Medical Center is providing free flu shots to all veterans enrolled in the VA system.
This is the fifth year the VA has done this and they say people keep coming back.
"The majority of them are super excited," Marie Ellison from the Boise VA Medical Center said. "One year we moved it and they were kind of upset with us because {at this location} they were able to find us really easily."
The next drive-thru clinic will be at the Caldwell Community Based Outreach Clinic. That's on October 5th and 6th from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
For more information about flu clinic availability veterans can contact their assigned primary care team, or call the Boise VA Medical Center at (208) 422-1000 ext. 7270 or ext. 7190.
