More and more pregnant women are asking doctors to deliver their babies early. Not because it's medically necessary, but for convenience like vacations, visits from Mom, even business meetings.
But the March of Dimes says it should no longer be acceptable to "choose" to deliver a baby at 36 weeks. They're launching a campaign to hold OB-Gyn's accountable.
