If you are reading this story on your phone, there’s a 16 percent chance you are touching poop.
That’s according to this infographic created by Keeping It Kleen, a group focused on bringing more attention to food safety and sanitation in the home.
The graphic reveals what you can find, but can’t always see, on gadgets at home.
It does not go into detail about how poop ends up on a cell phone or smartphone, but let's be honest. How many of us take the phone into the bathroom?
It also claims that computer keyboards are five times dirtier than a toilet seat and have 60 times the germs.
The dirtiest household item of them all? Your remote control. Imagine how many people touch it, whether they live at your home or are visiting. How often do you clean it?
Keeping It Kleen says the simple way to cut down on those germs is to sanitize with items like sanitizing wipes, rubbing alcohol and ultraviolet light cleaners.
