Fall rain is headed for the Inland Northwest

SPOKANE, Wash. --- Fall rain is on its way in the Inland Northwest.

It was only a matter of time before fall rain moved across the Inland Northwest. On Tuesday, rainy weather will blanket the area.

You can expect rain showers starting off the short work week. A few scattered showers will also continue through the afternoon.

Residents could see up to two-tenths of an inch of rain, however, some areas could potentially see more than that.

Even though it is time to pull out the umbrellas and get ready for fall, this Labor Day has been a lot drier compared to last year. Last year residents had a very wet day and saw about a half an inch of rain.
