TACOMA, Wash. -- The Tacoma School District is still adding up the cost of last month's teachers strike.
According to The News Tribune, the most recent estimate of strike-related costs is about $566,000. More than $166,000 is going to teachers and other certified employees who chose to report to work during the strike.
That tally does not include how much the district owes to an outside agency to help with negotiations during the labor dispute.
