Woman injured in attempted Boise kidnapping

BOISE - Police are investigating the attempted kidnapping of a woman Monday evening.

Boise police said a 19-year-old was walking to her car in a parking lot near Westpark Street and North Milwaukee Street at around 6:15 p.m. when she was grabbed from behind by an unknown man.

The woman fought off her attacker and reported the incident to police.

Police said the man had a sharp object during the attack, and the woman suffered minor injuries. She was treated at a local hospital and released.

The man is described as being more than 6 feet tall, with a husky build.

Anyone with information is asked to call 343-COPS.
