SPD: ���Thank you' to two unnamed people who helped catch suspect

SPOKANE, Wash. --- Spokane Police Officers responded to a report of two suspicious people outside the Walmart located in the 9200 block of North Colton Street.

When the officer initially arrived, one of the suspects started running away.

Two unnamed citizens helped the SPD officer in catching the suspect who tried to run away.

The suspect initially identified himself by a false name, however he was later identified as Danny T. Williams, 26.

Williams was also the suspect in an earlier shooting which happened in the 1500 block of West Sharp Avenue on Aug. 25, 2016.

Williams was booked into the Spokane County Jail for his warrant of assault in the second degree, drive by shooting, and felon in possession of a firearm.

The second man who was with Williams, was also arrested on an unrelated felony warrant.

The helpful citizens left the area before telling the officers their names.

The officer involved in the incident, wants to thank the unnamed citizens for their help.
