Police arrest two men, seize $8,000 worth of meth in Lebanon

LEBANON, Ore. -- Linn County deputies arrested two men and seized nearly a pound of methamphetamine from a home in Lebanon on Tuesday morning.

Deputies served a narcotics search warrant at a home in the 400 block of South Eleventh Street at about 9:25 a.m. on Tuesday.

Police seized 15 ounces of meth (street value of $8,000), digital scales, packaging material, drug paraphernalia, drug records, surveillance equipment, $1,970 in cash and eight guns.

One of the guns was reported stolen to the Albany Police Department in December 2007.

Deputies also arrested two people at the home, 68-year-old Michael Smith and 21-year-old Kyle Smith. Both are facing charges of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and first-degree child neglect.

Two women and a 4-year-old child were also present in the home. The Department of Human Services was called for the child, who was released to his mother.

The two women, 27-year-old Heather Johnson and 51-year-old Rochelle Brown were cited and released on individual charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
