Most wanted fugitive arrested in Nampa

CALDWELL – A Caldwell woman on the Treasure Valley’s Most Wanted list is now back in police custody.

Eleyana Rendon, 29, was arrested at a home in the 900 block of S. Florence Street in Nampa last night after Caldwell Police detectives received a tip from the public.

With the assistance of Nampa Police, detectives waited at the home for Rendon to arrive. She was taken into custody when she got out of a vehicle that police say was stolen.

Police say Rendon was in possession of meth and a meth pipe, which she attempted to destroy.

She has been a fugitive for about 14 months. There was a felony warrant for her arrest from the Idaho Department of Correction for possession of a controlled substance. She also had an outstanding warrant from Caldwell Police for eluding police.

She was booked into the Canyon County Jail on new charges of felony destruction of evidence, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, resisting and obstructing and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Additional charges are pending related to the stolen vehicle in her possession.
