10 men arrested in sex trafficking mission

PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Portland Police Bureau's Sex Trafficking Unit arrested 10 men during an undercover mission last week.

From Sept. 5 to Sept. 9, investigators posted online ads on known sex trafficking websites. Ten men contacted undercover police officers to arrange payment for sexual acts. A Portland hotel assisted the investigators in that part of the mission.

All 10 men who responded to the ads came to the hotel, where they were arrested for patronizing a prostitute, a misdemeanor.

Nine of the 10 men were given citations to appear in court at a later time. The other, 38-year-old Justin Fincannon of Portland, was booked into jail for distribution and possession of methamphetamine, in addition to patronizing a prostitute.

The following men were arrested:

  • Mario Abal Forzan, 55, of Vancouver
  • Humberto San Juan Martin, 25, of Portland
  • Ricardo Gonzalez-Flores, 32, of Tigard
  • Russ Michael Mulkey, 68, of Portland
  • Adan John Falatovich, 34, of Vancouver
  • Brian Erik Jamison, 50, of Portland
  • Troy Alan Kimito Matsumura, 33, of Portland
  • Emmanuel Rodriguez Barreto, 30 of Vancouver
  • Kidane Tewelde Michael, 34, of Portland
  • Justin Fincannon, 38, of Portland
