Bill Henson is a big game hunter and trophy fisherman, but now he's got his sights set on a company that sold him and his wife, Rory, a trip they can never take.

"I was real confident about it because it had Delta airlines on it and if I thought that it was sponsored by Delta, it's got to be legitimate," said Bill.

In January, Bill got a fax which offered a trip to Jamaica. It looked like it came from Delta --6 days at $199 per person.

"I came downstairs with this and said to Rory, 'would you like to go to Jamaica?' She never says no to anything like that," said Bill.

After they paid almost $900, they got a confirmation. Later, they were told they couldn't get the days or place they wanted.

They also couldn't get their money back.

"We were promised something over the phone when we were initially given our dates, now you can't provide that," Rory says she told them.

Travel analyst Steve Danishek has seen the fax before. He says offers like this have been circulating for 10 years and people still get taken by them.

"When you call the 800 numbers, they sound good, they sound VERY good," said Danishek.

Here's how to check to see if the offer is good:Call the airlines directly. Ask if they know about this offer. Then check with the Washington state Department of Licensing. The company should be a registered seller of travel. If either answer is no, throw it away.

We found out the company behind the offer goes by several names. They're also being investigated by the Florida Attorney General's Office and being sued by Delta Airlines for using their name and image. That's good to know, but it's not getting Bill or Rory to Jamaica this summer.

"We signed up for something, paid for it, and then they couldn't deliver."

The company wouldn't talk to us, but I know few folks that would want talk to them. The FTC and the Florida AG. That's who Bill and Rory filed complaints with. We'll let you know how that goes. If you come across an offer like this. Check it out, then let me know about it.
