False alarm causes lockdown at Lakeland School District

RATHDRUM, Idaho --- The Lakeland School District went into lockdown on Wednesday after someone spotted a suspicious person in the area. 

The Rathdrum Police Department said they got a call about a person spotted off of Highway 95. Police combed the area around the school and Highway 95 and did not find anyone. They said the person spotted was likely a hunter.

The school district was cleared around 10:30 a.m.
