Johnson resigns from Nevada-based IGT

RENO, Nev. (AP) — International Game Technology says David Johnson has resigned as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of the Reno-based slot machine maker.

Johnson's resignation is effective Jan. 4.

Johnson joined IGT in 2003, coming from Anchor Gaming.

IGT chief executive Patti S. Hart says the company expects to name a new general counsel by the end of the year.
