Microsoft matches reward for missing Canadian runaway

TORONTO - Microsoft is matching a reward being offered in the search for a Canadian teenager who ran away after his parents took away his Xbox 360.

That would raise the reward for 15-year-old Brandon Crisp's return from $25,000 to $50,000 Canadian, which is about $38,800 US.

Crisp disappeared October 13 from his home in Barrie, Ontario, north of Toronto. His parents had taken away his gaming privileges because of his excessive playing of "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare".

The game allows players to connect online and compete against other.

Reuters reports that police may ask Microsoft to release the list of players Crisp has recently played with.
