SPOKANE, Wash. -- The rain appeared to have played a factor in a crash that blocked part of Market and Cleveland Friday morning.  Elsewhere, a jackknifed semi on I-90 backed up traffic near the Hamilton bridge.

The two-car collision at Market and Cleveland left one driver with injuries.

Police cited one of the drivers for driving too fast for the wet conditions.

On I-90, a jacknifed FedEx truck blocked westbound lanes on the freeway and eastbound traffic backed up under the Hamilton bridge.

The driver of the semi told State Troopers he lost control and hit a jersey barrier.  The crash sent debris into the oncoming eastbound traffic.

Washington State Patrol called a tow truck to the scene but crews expected clean up to take a while.  They asked drivers to avoid I-90 Friday morning if at all possible.

The accident was listed as cleard around 8:40 a.m.
