POST FALLS, Idaho -- Two teenagers were killed in an accident on I-90 in Post Falls.

Sixteen-year-old Destiney Moore and 17-year-old Michael Martinez, from Great Falls, Montana, were killed in a multiple car crash.

Idaho State Police say a Suburban traveling westbound from Great Falls, Montana, to Seattle crossed the median into oncoming eastbound traffic near the Seltice Way exit.

Troopers say a red car and truck with snow plow attached both hit the Suburban, and a third car clipped the wrecked vehicles.

The two teens were on their way to Seattle so Destiney could undergo a dialysis treatment. She died at the scene. Martinez later died in the hospital.

Destiney's mother, Tracy Moore, 34, was driving the SUV. She and a 5-year-old are also in the hospital with life threatening injuries.

Idaho State Police say the SUV was hit by three oncoming cars in the eastbound lanes of I-90.

Two people in a red car, 57-year-old Marcia Thomas and 75-year-old Richard Thomas were both taken to Kootenai County Medical Center. Marcia was then taken to Sacred Heart, at last check around 6:30 a.m. she was in surgery. Richard was taken to Harbor View Medical Center in Seattle. His condition is not known.

The driver of a pickup truck with a plow on it., 27-year-old Evan Kinnic, was also taken to the hospital. He was treated and released.

And there were four people in their 20s driving in the fourth vehicle. No one in that SUV was injured.
