The tree is believed to have fallen into the home near SW 9th St. & Hall Blvd. just after 5:15 p.m. Thursday.

Fire crews said animals are trapped inside, and the firefighters are working to get them out.  There's no word on what kind of animals are inside or how many there are.

No people were believed to be injured in the incident.

Neighbors told KGW News that the tree is very old and is well-known in the area.
